Stabilizing electrode/electrolyte interfaces in solid-state batteries

ISN-affiliated MIT researchers led by Dr. Bilge Yildiz, working with personnel from Brookhaven National Laboratory, have achieved a significant advance in the development of solid-state batteries resulting from a new and simple method for stabilizing their electrode/electrolyte interfaces. Ultimately, it may result in much safer batteries that store twice as much energy.
